On behalf of the Jewish Report newspaper, we have much pleasure in informing you that you have been nominated for the Jewish Achiever Awards 2015, in the categories of Absa Entrepreneur Award.

The Awards, in the past, have also honoured both President Mandela and
Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu for their contribution to South Africa.
The awards ceremony is filled with music, comedy and a sparkling array of the whose-who of South African society. There is no other event in the social calendar which attracts as many high profile individuals as the Absa Jewish Achiever Awards. The Business and Entrepreneurial awards arejudged by a panel of independent business people, financial journalists,stockbrokers and Absa representatives, who interview all of the candidates.
 
The results are all audited by Grant Thornton accountants.
 
In order to be eligible for the award:
 
1. You will need to make yourself available for an interview with the judging panel on August 2     (in Sandton Johannesburg) either in person, if you are in Johannesburg, or by phone if you       are elsewhere. We are also looking at flying nominees up for interviews, where feasible.
 
2. You will need to be available to attend the Jewish Achievers Gala Dinner at Vodaworld,           Midrand on August 23.
 
All nominees are highlighted in the Jewish Report newspaper and are invited to participate in a number of exclusive events with Absa leadership.
 
A video of you and your company will be shown at the gala dinner before an audience of over 600 key decision makers.
 
Should you accept your nomination, you will be entitled to a free seat at the gala dinner.
 
In addition, should you wish to purchase a 10 seater table for your guests at the event, the cost will be R 28 000 (ex Vat). 
 
All proceeds of the evening go towards funding the Jewish Report newspaper.  Please find attached a table booking form.

Should you accept this nomination/s, we would require by no later than July 12:
 
·         a copy of your CV;
·         an overview of your business;
·         a head and shoulders photograph for the judging process which will
          also be published in the Jewish Report Newspaper
          (preferably High Resolution);
·         a completed questionnaire for publication in our prestigious
          commemorative newspaper supplement. 
·         any photos and/or videos you may have that highlights your company.
 
A video team will be present at the judging process in order to interview you for the nominations video which will be showed on the evening.
