Recovering a piece of furniture requires a skilled artisan to remove all the old inners and reconstruct a new and more secured internal mechanism.
This upholstery expert must use many skills associated with woodwork as well as having good sewing skills.

To do a proper refit one needs patience and passion in order to deliver the best results. One should only use the best quality fabrics, preferably imported from Europe.

We use the best quality steel springs and stainless steel staples to avoid rusting, etc.

We also use the latest techniques in the padding to build up seats, backs etc. We also do folding with buttons if required. Consistent stuffing is imperative in order to create shapes and slopes to match the original design.

To hold everything in place, good stitching of the fabric or leather cover is extremely important.  Single or double stitching can be used, depending on the original style of the cushions.

Most quality fabrics today are Teflon coated to resist staining and also creating a waterproof barrier.

Klingshield takes pride in each re-upholstery project in order to deliver the best end result, giving you an investment which you will enjoy for many years to come!
We have a pickup and delivery service in the Gauteng area to make the exercise simple and easy for you.
